How can psychotherapy and counseling help?
Therapy provides a safe, nonjudgemental space to explore your thoughts, emotions and experience with the support of a trained professional. It can help you gain clarity, develop healthy coping strategies, improve communication and relationships, and work through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, identity issues, or life transitions. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking personal growth, therapy can support you in building insight, resilience, and a stronger connection with yourself and others.
What is your therapy approach?
My approach is person-centered, experiential, and relational. I see you as a whole person—not a diagnosis—and work collaboratively with you to create a treatment plan that fits your unique needs. Rather than focusing only on talking, I invite you to engage with your emotions and experiences in the here and now. This may include creative methods such as role play, movement, or guided imagery to deepen self-awareness and promote healing.
I also believe that while relationships can be sources of pain, they can also be powerful pathways to healing. By building a safe and authentic therapeutic relationship, we can explore your relational patterns and begin to restore a sense of connection, trust, and self-worth.
What issues or challenges do you not work with?
This is not a judgment about any of these concerns, but rather an honest acknowledgment of my scope and limitations as a therapist. I do not currently work with:
* Severe personality disorders, BPDs
* Short-term, solution-focused
If your needs fall outside my areas of expertise, I’d be happy to help refer you to another professional who may be a better fit
